Vietnam Visa for Jordanian Citizens: E-Visa Cost in Jordanian Dinars and Steps
Vietnam visa for jordanian citizens: you need a visa, usually the 90-day e-visa from $47 (approx. JOD 33.32). Dinar prices and Amman cut-offs.
Jordanian citizens with an ordinary passport need a visa for Vietnam, so the Vietnam visa for Jordanian citizens is the e-visa, valid for up to 90 days and from $47 (approx. JOD 33.32) all-in through us for single entry. Jordan is on none of Vietnam's exemption lists, so a Jordanian passport gets no visa-free stay. This page covers the e-visa, prices in Jordanian dinars, urgent cut-offs in Amman time, the steps, documents, visa on arrival and the embassy. You can apply for your e-visa with us in about ten minutes.
Amman is four hours behind Vietnam, so Vietnam's afternoon cut-offs fall in your morning. The cut-off table below shows which speed is still open when you order.

Do Jordanian citizens need a visa for Vietnam?
Yes. Jordanian citizens with an ordinary passport need a visa for any stay in Vietnam, and the e-visa is the usual route.
Jordan is not on the Ministry of Foreign Affairs exemption list (published June 30, 2025, checked October 2026), and it is not among the 12 countries added to the 45-day list by Resolution 229/NQ-CP, in force from August 15, 2025.
One lookup page claims Jordanians can stay 90 days without a visa; the Ministry's table does not support that. For the general rules, see Do I need a visa for Vietnam?
Visa for Vietnam from Jordan: the e-visa
A visa for Vietnam from Jordan is nearly always the e-visa. It lets Jordanian citizens stay up to 90 days, with single or multiple entry, under Law 23/2023/QH15. It covers holidays, family visits and short business trips.

Vietnam visa for Jordanian citizens: urgent cut-offs in Amman time
Standard takes 5 to 7 working days. The urgent speeds use Vietnamese working days, which start at 8:00 in Vietnam, or 4:00 in Amman.
| Order cut-off | Amman time |
|---|---|
| Same day (Vietnam 14:15) | 10:15 |
| Super Urgent (Vietnam 15:30) | 11:30 |
| Emergency (Vietnam 17:30) | 13:30 |
| 1 working day (Vietnam 18:00) | 14:00 |
Example: you order on Tuesday at 5:00 in Amman, which is 9:00 on Tuesday in Vietnam. Emergency arrives by 6:30, Super Urgent by 7:30 and Same day by 14:00, all in Amman time. Ordered on Tuesday at 12:00 instead (16:00 in Vietnam), Emergency still arrives by 13:30, but Super Urgent and Same day have passed their cut-offs: Super Urgent arrives on Wednesday at 7:00 and Same day on Wednesday at 10:00.
The weekend window starts at Friday 14:00 in Amman and ends on Sunday at 12:00. In that window, order the Weekend and public holidays speed before 11:20 and it arrives by 14:30 the same day. Our urgent e-visa page has every speed in Vietnam time.

Visa on arrival for Jordanian citizens
Jordanian citizens can use visa on arrival only when flying into Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Da Nang or Cam Ranh. You need an approval letter before you board and pay a $25 or $50 stamping fee at the airport.
It does not work for cruise ports or land borders. For most trips the e-visa is simpler; you can compare both when you choose a service.
Vietnam embassy in Jordan
You do not need an embassy for an e-visa, which is issued online. For consular help, check the list of Vietnamese missions on the Ministry of Foreign Affairs website (mofa.gov.vn) for the one that covers Jordan.
Tips for Jordanian travelers
Two points help Jordanian travelers: using the short time gap, and checking claims of visa-free entry.
Four hours is a short gap
An order placed at 8:00 in Amman reaches Vietnam at noon, in the middle of its working day. The Same day cut-off falls at 10:15 in Amman and the Emergency cut-off at 13:30, so a morning order keeps every speed open.
Check any site that says visa-free
Some lookup sites say Jordanian passport holders can stay 90 days without a visa. That conflicts with the Ministry's list above. Check the Ministry's table again and look for Jordan: it is not on it.
eVisaVietnam.com is a private visa service operated by TK VIET NAM., JSC, not the Vietnamese government. You can apply yourself at evisa.gov.vn for US$25. If you want your files checked and a delivery time backed by a full refund, apply for your e-visa with us.
