Urgent Vietnam Visa: Get Your E-Visa in 1.5 Hours

Urgent Vietnam visa in as little as 1.5 working hours: same day, 2.5-hour and 1.5-hour e-visa prices, cut-off times in Vietnam time, weekends and refunds.

How to apply Vietnam evisa

Yes, you can get a Vietnam e-visa in as little as 1.5 working hours. An urgent Vietnam visa from us comes in three speeds: same day (4 to 8 hours), Super Urgent (2.5 hours) and Emergency (1.5 hours), plus a weekend and holiday service. You can get my urgent e-visa now, or read on for prices, cut-off times, weekends, what to do if you already applied, and what happens at the airport.

An urgent visa Vietnam issues is the same e-visa as a standard one: same validity, same entry rules, same government fee. The only difference is how fast it is processed, and every price below already includes the $25 or $50 government fee.

Urgent speeds:

SpeedDelivered withinSingle entry (USD)Multiple entry (USD)
Same day4 to 8 working hours$118$150
Super Urgent2.5 working hours$169$212
Emergency1.5 working hours$260$285
Weekend and public holidaysSame day, outside working days$250$280

eVisaVietnam.com is a private visa service operated by TK VIET NAM., JSC, not the Vietnamese government. You can apply yourself at evisa.gov.vn for US$25, but the government portal has no hours-based option.

The right speed depends on how many working hours remain before your flight, so start by matching the tier to your situation.

Choose your urgent Vietnam visa speed

Pick the slowest speed that still lands before your check-in. Same day suits a flight tomorrow, Super Urgent suits a flight tonight, and Emergency suits a flight in the next few hours.

An emergency Vietnam visa is not a separate visa type. It is our fastest processing tier for a normal e-visa, and the three urgent tiers differ only in time and price. If your flight is two or more days away, the 1-day option at $99 or the 2-day option at $92 costs much less; the full price list shows every speed.

Same day (4 to 8 hours)

Vietnam visa same day processing costs $118 for single entry. Order early in the working day and the e-visa usually arrives that afternoon or evening. It is the best value when you fly tomorrow.

Super Urgent (2.5 hours)

Super Urgent costs $169 for single entry and delivers within 2.5 working hours of your order. It suits travelers who fly the same evening and order in the morning or early afternoon, Vietnam time.

Emergency (1.5 hours)

Our emergency evisa Vietnam service costs $260 for single entry and delivers within 1.5 working hours. It is the fastest option we have, built for travelers who are already packing or already at the airport.

Each delivery time counts from when you finish your order, during Vietnam working hours. That makes the cut-off time the number to watch.

Order cut-off times in Vietnam time

Every urgent tier has a daily cut-off in Vietnam time (GMT+7). Order Emergency by 17:30, Super Urgent by 15:30 or same day by 14:15 on a working day to receive your e-visa that same day.

The table shows when an order placed on a working day is delivered. These times come from the same rules our order form uses to show your estimated delivery.

Vietnam time is ahead of most of our customers. The next table converts the three cut-offs for winter dates (November to March); add one hour for New York, Los Angeles and London in their summer, and subtract one hour for Sydney from April to early October.

Cut-off (GMT+7)New YorkLos AngelesLondonIndiaSydney

Emergency, 17:305:302:3010:3016:0021:30

A rush Vietnam evisa ordered at 9:00 in New York has already missed the same-day window in Vietnam, so Super Urgent the next Vietnamese morning, or Emergency, is the realistic choice. These cut-offs apply only on Vietnamese working days, which leads to the question of weekends.

Weekends and public holidays

The weekend and public holiday service costs $250 for single entry and $280 for multiple entry. Order before 15:20 Vietnam time inside the weekend window and the e-visa is delivered by 18:30 the same day.

For pricing, our weekend window runs from Friday 18:00 to Sunday 16:00 (GMT+7), plus Vietnamese public holidays. Orders outside it follow the working-day table above. Vietnam's longest closure is the Lunar New Year (Tet), when government offices close for several days, so book well ahead if you travel around Tet. Our weekend and holiday e-visa guide lists this year's closure dates.

Everything so far is for new applications. Travelers who already applied on the government portal have a cheaper path.

Already applied on evisa.gov.vn?

If you applied on evisa.gov.vn and your status still shows processing, you usually do not need a new application. You can expedite a pending e-visa from $50 per person, because you already paid the government fee.

Expedite costs less than a new urgent e-visa: from $50 at standard speed up to $239 per person for 1.5 hours, with lower prices for orders of three or more people. You need your registration code, the email you used and your entry date. Apply again from scratch only if the first application has wrong details, because a second application with the same mistake does not help. If you are not yet sure whether to wait, our guide for an application still processing explains the normal timings and warning signs.

The most stressful version of this problem happens at the check-in desk.

At the airport without a visa

If an airline refuses to board you because you have no Vietnam visa, order the Emergency e-visa immediately and message us on WhatsApp at +84 879 932 635. During working hours it can arrive within 1.5 hours.

Airlines check visas because they are responsible for flying back passengers who are refused entry. That is why check-in staff ask for your e-visa PDF, and why a pending application on evisa.gov.vn is not enough to board. Outside Vietnam working hours, the earliest delivery is 9:30 the next working morning for Emergency, so changing to a later flight is often cheaper than waiting at the airport. Our denied boarding checklist walks through the first 60 minutes.

Wherever you are when you order, the speed also depends on how clean your documents are.

What to send for the fastest result

Send a clear passport scan, a correct portrait photo and accurate travel dates in your first submission. Any document that has to be redone eats into the 1.5 or 2.5 hours you paid for.

A Vietnam express visa moves only as fast as its paperwork. Before you pay, check these four points:

  • Passport data page: A full color scan or phone photo, all four corners visible, no glare over the text at the bottom.
  • Portrait photo: A recent photo on a plain light background with your face fully visible. Our e-visa photo rules show accepted and rejected examples.
  • Entry date and entry point: The date you will actually arrive and the airport or border gate you will use. You cannot enter before the start date on your e-visa.
  • Contact details: A WhatsApp number you will check, so our team can reach you within minutes if something needs fixing.

Even with perfect documents, some situations leave too little time for any e-visa. There are three questions people ask at that point: is there another route, is approval guaranteed, and what happens to the money.

When an e-visa cannot arrive in time

If you fly into Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Da Nang or Cam Ranh, an urgent visa on arrival letter is the alternative when the e-visa timing does not work. You board with the approval letter and pay the stamping fee at the airport.

Visa on arrival does not work at land or sea borders. Our page on the last-minute visa on arrival letter explains the timing and the documents to carry. No speed guarantees approval: the Vietnam Immigration Department makes the decision, and our role is to submit a clean application and follow it closely.

On time or your money back

Yes, your payment is protected. If your urgent e-visa is refused or arrives after the time you paid for, we refund 100%, unless the refusal came from false information in the application.

The delivery time is shown before you pay, so you know what you are buying. When you are ready, get my urgent e-visa and keep WhatsApp +84 879 932 635 open; our team answers from 8:00 to 21:00 (GMT+7).

Frequently Asked Questions
