In her own words:
Hi, I’m Nhung (pronounced “Nyoong”), but most travelers call me Nina. Based in Hanoi, I’ve spent 8 years helping international visitors navigate Vietnam’s e-visa process, from choosing the right visa type to fixing photo and passport errors before they cause delays.
I’ve personally reviewed applications for travelers from 80 countries, and I follow every update from Vietnam’s Immigration Department so our guides stay accurate. My goal is simple: clear answers, no surprises at the border.
What Nina Nguyen does at eVisaVietnam.com
Nina Nguyen has three jobs at eVisaVietnam.com: she answers traveler questions on WhatsApp and email, she checks applications before they are filed, and she writes or reviews the guides on this site. Her name sits on each guide as author and reviewer.
When she checks a file, she looks at the things that most often slow an e-visa down:
- Portrait photo: Recent, white background, facing the camera, no hat or glasses, as set out in our e-visa photo requirements.
- Passport page: One clear scan of the data page, all four corners visible and both machine-readable lines readable.
- Personal details: Name, date of birth and passport number typed exactly as they appear in the passport.
- Trip details: Entry date, e-visa type and the border gate you plan to use.
Experience
Nina has 8 years of Vietnam visa work: visa on arrival letters, e-visas, corrections and extensions. She also has 12 years of experience editing travel websites, which is why she writes the guides as well as checking files.
This experience is Nina's own. The company she works for, TK VIET NAM., JSC, was founded in Hanoi in 2025; you can read more about the company behind eVisaVietnam.com.
How Nina keeps our guides accurate
Nina checks each guide against official sources: the Vietnam Immigration Department at xuatnhapcanh.gov.vn and the e-visa site itself, evisa.gov.vn. When a rule, fee or visa-free list changes, she updates the affected guides and the "Last reviewed" date shown under each title changes with them.
When several travelers ask about something a guide does not explain clearly, she rewrites that section.
What Nina writes and reviews
As the eVisaVietnam.com author and reviewer, Nina covers three main groups of guides:
- Problems and fixes: Our e-visa problems guides cover photo warnings, payment issues and refunds.
- Corrections: How to correct a Vietnam e-visa with a wrong name, date or passport number.
- Country guides: Visa requirements by nationality for travelers from each country.
